Painting Daffodils.jpg

Creating stories with words and pictures has always been an essential part of my happiness.  As a young girl (when I wasn't growing award-winning squash for the county fair), I would paint with my younger sisters at our kitchen table.  As I grew, I spent long summer days exploring the sage hills of the Wenatchee Valley, dreaming up tales and drawing for hours.

Not much has changed.  I continue to paint and write curious stories at my own kitchen table, my children often creating alongside me. Nature's wonders and life's simple, but most meaningful moments are a huge source of artistic inspiration for me. Gratitude is everything!

As a self-taught artist, I've developed a rich illustrative style, blending colored pencils and watercolors to create art that makes your heart smile.  My incredibly supportive husband and I (along with our three children) live on Fidalgo Island in the Salish Sea where we whale watch during breakfast.
